Hoboken Grace · Married Groups
You moved here for opportunity. But somewhere between the commute, the career, and everything waiting at home, you realized you left something behind. Community. Other couples who know your names and actually know you.
A Married Dinner Group is where you find that again.
The basics
Different careers. Different backgrounds. Different seasons of marriage. One shared goal: to not just hear it on the weekend, but to actually live it.
At work. At home. Around your own table on a Thursday night.
That's what a Married Dinner Group is built for.
Why we call it that
When Hoboken Grace was just getting started, we wanted a place where people could put what they heard on the weekend into practice. The problem was, when we asked people to join a small group, the answer was usually, "I don't have time." Fair. Life here is full.
But when we asked, "Want to grab dinner and get to know some people?" something shifted. People said yes.
Not every group shares a meal these days. Some do, some don't. Each group figures that out for themselves. But the name stuck because the idea behind it hasn't changed.
Come for the conversation. Stay for the connection. Dinner Groups were born.
What actually happens
You don't need to prep. You don't need to know anyone. You just show up together.
01
You show up and get to know the couples in the room. No agenda. No pressure. Over time, strangers become the people you call first.
02
You pick up where Sunday left off. Someone asks the question you and your spouse were already talking about in the car. The conversation goes somewhere real.
03
This is the point. You figure out what it actually looks like to live differently. Not on your own, and not just as a couple, but with people working on the same things.
What people say
God has done amazing things reminding us that the people we've found here are our community. Every time we come back from a holiday, dinner group is what reminds us this is where we're supposed to be.
